It also gave me a chance to work with Tony Williams who was working for Cartmell PR at the time.Tony re-formed Stealers Wheel in Blackpool in 2008 with two other original band members, Rod Coombes and Paul Pilnick together with locally based musician and songwriter Tony Mitchell. On 10 November 2008 they started filming a music video for a re-release of “Stuck in the Middle” on the Fylde coast. They also began writing songs for a new album to be released in 2009, although they have no plans to go on tour. The original song he played on can be heard on Youtube.For a time Tony worked in elephant conservation and as a Public Relations advisor at Blackpool Zoo for the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums. In 2007 he was elected as a local councillor in Blackpool and was re-elected in 2011. I know he’s been a councillor for longer than that but I don’t know how long. Have a look at his website.
